Money Making Tips and Secrets of Twitter Twenius

Did you know that celebrities, politicians and famous names from @KevinRose to @Bjork to @JohnCleese to @NickCannon and beyond, are racing to establish themselves as part of the Twitter elite.
However Twitter is far more incredible than that. Truth be told, Twitter is a local area social tool too. More likely than not, your town municipal government is on Twitter, your local news channel, your local Fire Fighters, your library, your local college, even the guy that mowed your lawn recently. If they are not on Twitter today, they’ll likely be on tomorrow.
But there’s another force moving rapidly to Twitter. It’s an amazing transition of a more serious nature where businesses and entrepreneurs are now tapping the magical potential of Twitter. When we observe established companies like: @HomeDepot, @TravelOregon or @kodakCB start lining up on the Twitter bandwagon, it’s definitely time to take notice.
It is likely that this “business phenomena” boils down to the commonly known fact that a significant amount of business actually occurs in social gatherings, at cocktail parties, on the golf course, and at other social events. Now, through Twitter it’s easy to benefit from an online version of a non-stop cocktail party of unimaginable proportions.
It’s hard to overlook some of these facts and stories:
- Twitter is virtually 100% consumer content. “Consumer content is ranked as the #1 aid to a buying decision, cited by 91% of respondents.” ~JC Williams Group
- “Unique Visitors to Twitter are dominated by 2,935,000 in the 35-49 age range (41.7%)”
- “The average unique visitor went to Twitter.com 14 times during the month and spent an average of seven minutes on the site.”
What does this mean to me? It means that if you are an entrepreneur or own a business, you must go directly to Twitter, do not pass go, do not collect $200, and set up your own Twitter account.
Can it possibly be that easy?
Well, not quite. Once you have your account opened, that’s when the simplicity goes out the window. It’s a very very simple concept, but like playing chess, unless you have a clear strategy, you’re going to soon be scratching your head.
Thankfully, there’s help. Internet strategist and social media marketing expert, Dan Hollings has spent the past year researching and testing Twitter strategies for business. Along the way, Dan wrote 100 extremely helpful Twitter tips for business. Next he created a browser toolbar for Mac or PC that puts over 230 Twitter tools, tips and apps easily within reach. Recently, he released his remarkable Twitter training program called, “Twitter Twenius” (that’s Twitter-talk for genius).
Here is a helpful Twitter tip, to from the hundreds Dan has originated:
Is your Twitter BIO punchy, compelling, and interesting. Have you considered peppering your 160 character BIO with key-phrases to help make you “findable” by the type audience you hope to have follow you? And I almost forget… Is it hype free?
Of course there’s so much more to learn, however if you’re looking for Twitter revenue generating ideas or a way to turn-on the Twitter afterburners on all your promotional campaigns whether locally or throughout the world, I recommend Twitter Twenius.
